Why Work with Keelson & Weldon?

Many recruiters focus on filling positions. We focus on building careers and lasting professional relationships.

Industry Expertise

We specialize in the industries we serve. We understand the certifications, technical skills, licensing requirements, field experience, and operational realities that matter in maritime, engineering, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and environmental work.

Personal, Human Support

You'll have a name, a voice, and a recruiter who knows your goals, not a folder in a database. Our recruiters provide steady communication, professional guidance, and honest feedback throughout your search.

Access to Hidden Opportunities

Not every role reaches a public job board. Many employers engage us directly to identify specialized talent before positions are broadly advertised.

Opportunities That Fit

We take a methodical, measured approach to matching candidates with employers. We look beyond job titles to understand the work itself, the company culture, and your long-term goals.

Career Exploration

Considering a move but not actively applying? Our anonymized Talent Board allows you to explore opportunities discreetly while protecting your professional privacy.

A Relationship Built to Last

Whether you're looking for your first leadership opportunity, transitioning industries, or advancing your career, we're committed to being a dependable recruiting partner whenever the next opportunity appears.

A recruiting partner built to hold.

How Our Candidate Process Works

Step 1: Schedule a Conversation

Your first step is simple: call us or schedule an appointment through our online calendar.

During this introductory conversation, we'll learn more about your background, career goals, and the types of opportunities that interest you. We'll also explain how our services work and answer any questions you may have.

As a standard of professional recruiting, there is never a cost to candidates; our services are fully funded by the employers we partner with.

Built on Trust. Guided by Integrity.

Step 2: Complete a Candidate Profile

If, after our meeting, you would like to join our candidate network, we will send you a brief candidate form and request an updated résumé.

This information helps us understand your:

  • Technical skills and specialties

  • Industry experience

  • Certifications and licenses

  • Education and training

  • Geographic preferences

  • Career interests and goals

Our process is structured and deliberate, ensuring that we can accurately represent your qualifications to potential employers.

Step 3: Create Your Confidential Candidate Profile

Your information is kept strictly confidential.

Once we review your background, we develop an anonymized candidate profile that highlights your experience, skills, certifications, education, and professional strengths without revealing your identity.

Before your profile is added to our Talent Pool, we will send you a copy for review. You may request edits or changes to ensure your experience is represented accurately.

You remain in control of your information throughout the process.

.

Step 4: Opportunity Matching

As we receive hiring requirements from our clients, we continuously evaluate opportunities against the experience, skills, certifications, education, and training of professionals within our network.

We may contact you when:

  • A client is seeking someone with your qualifications

  • A position aligns with your career objectives

  • An employer expresses interest in your anonymized profile

  • A new opportunity appears that matches your expertise

Our focus is quality over quantity. We believe in making purposeful introductions. Opportunities that align with their expressed interest.

Step 5: Introduction With Your Permission

If an opportunity interests you, we will discuss the position, responsibilities, and expectations with you before any introductions are made.

We never submit your information or reveal your identity without your knowledge or permission.

When you decide to move forward, we will formally introduce you to the client.

From initial conversations through final decisions, our role is to provide guidance, communication, and professional support.

A Relationship Built for the Long Haul

At Keelson & Weldon, we believe strong careers are built through trusted relationships, not transactions. Whether your next opportunity comes next month or several years from now, we strive to remain a dependable resource and a steady professional partner throughout your career journey.

Industrial strength. Human integrity. Partnership built to hold.
